THE NATIONAL FEDERATION OF FEDERAL EMPLOYEES ENDORSES DAN KOH
Andover, MA – Today, the National Federation of Federal Employees (NFFE-IAM) announced its endorsement of Dan Koh in the Massachusetts 6th Congressional District primary. NFFE-IAM, the first union to represent federal employees in the United States, represents around 110,000 public service workers across the country.
"Dan Koh knows firsthand what it means to serve the public. Under the Biden administration, he worked to strengthen the institutions our members show up for every day,” said NFFE-IAM President Randy Erwin. “He understands that strong support for federal workers helps keep our country running, from Social Security to the VA to the FAA, and that a federal government that works for people starts with a federal workforce that's respected, protected, and empowered to do its job. At a time when we have a president gutting the agencies and public services every American depends on and treating dedicated civil servants as political targets, we need someone in Congress who knows how the federal government is supposed to operate to serve people, and has the experience to fight against Trump's attacks on our workforce. Dan Koh is that candidate, and NFFE-IAM is proud to endorse him.”
Koh thanked NFFE-IAM for their support, emphasizing his longstanding commitment to standing alongside organized labor.
“Federal workers have seen Donald Trump’s dangerous attacks on our democracy up close. NFFE members know the urgency of our fight, and I’m honored to have their support,” Koh said. “Whether fighting wildfires, helping families get the housing they need, or caring for our nation’s veterans — federal workers deserve respect. Instead, this president’s given them termination notices. I will always stand alongside public servants fighting for a voice on the job and respect at the bargaining table.”
Koh’s campaign has gained critical momentum thanks to over 100 endorsements from local and national elected officials and community leaders, union locals, President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, and Secretary Pete Buttigieg, while raising a record-breaking $4.5M+ since launch, a record for an MA House candidate.
