BOILMAKERS LOCAL 29 ENDORSES DAN KOH
Andover, MA – Today, Boilermakers Local 29 announced their endorsement of Dan Koh in the Massachusetts 6th Congressional District primary. Local 29 represents workers in heavy industry, shipbuilding, manufacturing, railroads, cement, mining, and related industries across New England.
"Our members and their families deserve a leader who won't back down when the work gets tough. Dan Koh has a proven track record of fighting for working families and labor unions. We're proud to endorse him for Congress because we deserve a champion who will deliver meaningful change," said Eric Edgren, Business Manager for Local 29.
Koh expressed his gratitude for the endorsement, emphasizing his strong union backing and how these partnerships fuel his campaign to lower prices for Sixth District families.
"I’m thrilled to have this endorsement from Boilermakers Local 29," Koh said. “Unions across our region bring workers together to prioritize fair wages, safety in the workplace, and high quality innovations. Local 29 joins our robust team of unions who believe in our campaign for a more affordable Sixth District. I’m honored to have their trust as we continue our fight for workers and their families.”
Koh’s campaign has gained critical momentum thanks to the support of over 30 local and national community leaders, over 15 union locals, and Vice President Kamala Harris, while raising a record-breaking $2M+ in its first fundraising quarter, a record for an MA House candidate in history.
