FORMER SECRETARY OF COMMERCE GINA RAIMONDO ENDORSES DAN KOH
Andover, MA – Today, former Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo announced her endorsement of Dan Koh in the Massachusetts 6th Congressional District primary. Secretary Raimondo previously served as the 75th Governor of Rhode Island.
"I am so proud to be endorsing Dan Koh for Congress,” Secretary Raimondo said. “When I was Secretary of Commerce, I worked closely with Dan on the CHIPS Act, landmark legislation that brought millions of dollars to communities across the country and boosted our economy. As a Congressman, I know Dan will continue to work hard to deliver results for families across the Sixth District and I am excited to support him along the way.”
Koh shared his immense gratitude for the endorsement, lauding the Secretary’s track record of passing legislation that boosts the economy and creates good paying jobs.
“I am so honored to have the endorsement of Secretary Raimondo,” Koh said. “From her work to pass the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and the CHIPS Act as Secretary of Commerce to raising the minimum wage as Governor of Rhode Island, Secretary Raimondo knows how to deliver. I am incredibly grateful to have her support as I work to fight this administration and create a more affordable, prosperous Sixth District.”
Koh’s campaign has gained critical momentum thanks to over 75 endorsements from local and national elected officials and community leaders, union locals, President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, and Secretary Pete Buttigieg, while raising $3.5M+ since launch, a record for an MA House candidate.
