SEIU LOCAL 888 ENDORSES DAN KOH
Andover, MA – Today, SEIU Local 888 announced their endorsement of Dan Koh in the Massachusetts 6th Congressional District primary. Since 2003, SEIU Local 888 has helped its 8,000 public sector members secure contracts that guarantee better pay, benefits, and working conditions.
“Dan Koh’s many years of local and federal public service have demonstrated his commitment to championing working-class families and communities,” President Tom McKeever said. “His record of accomplishments is broad and extensive. Dan Koh has consistently advocated for issues that matter deeply to our members, including affordable housing, accessible and affordable healthcare for all, stronger investments in public education, common sense gun safety laws, and fighting corruption both locally and in Washington, D.C. Local 888 is proud to stand side by side with Dan Koh and is excited about the future. We look forward to partnering with him in his continued efforts to serve the members, constituents, and residents of the 6th District with integrity and purpose.”
Koh expressed his gratitude for the endorsement, highlighting his steadfast commitment to backing unions and making the Sixth District more affordable for working families.
"I am so honored to have the endorsement of Local 888," Koh said. “These dedicated public servants deserve a Representative who will be a fierce advocate for them in Washington. I am very grateful to have Local 888 members on our team as we build a more affordable future for the Sixth District.”
Koh’s campaign has gained critical momentum thanks to over 75 endorsements from local and national elected officials and community leaders, union locals, President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, and Secretary Pete Buttigieg, while raising $3.5M+ since launch, a record for an MA House candidate.
