INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF MACHINISTS AND AEROSPACE WORKERS ENDORSES DAN KOH

Andover, MA – Today, the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers announced their endorsement of Dan Koh in the Massachusetts 6th Congressional District primary. For 130 years, the IAMAW, which consists of 600,000 active and retired members, has helped its workers in a variety of industries, from aerospace engineering to woodworking, secure better wages, benefits, and job protections.

“Our members keep America safe, competitive, and on the move — building critical infrastructure, manufacturing, service, supporting the MBTA, Airlines and Railways. We're proud to endorse Dan Koh because he is a leader with a record of delivering for our communities and creating good-paying, union-protected jobs that grow our economy,” says Mike Vartabedian, Assistant Directing Business Representative of IAMAW.

Koh shared his gratitude for the endorsement, highlighting his commitment to protecting union jobs and making the Sixth District more affordable for working families.

"I’m honored to have the endorsement of IAMAW," Koh said. “These diligent workers have dedicated their lives to keeping our country moving, whether they’re maintaining our railways or repairing airplanes. As a Congressman, I will continue to fiercely defend organizing rights and fight against corruption in Washington. Grateful to have the Machinists on our team as we build an affordable future for the Sixth District. Let’s Go!”

Koh’s campaign has gained critical momentum thanks to over 60 endorsements from local and national community leaders, union locals, Vice President Kamala Harris, and Secretary Pete Buttigieg, while raising a record-breaking $3.5M+ since launch, a record for an MA House candidate.
