MASSACHUSETTS STATE SENATOR CINDY FRIEDMAN ENDORSES DAN KOH
Andover, MA – Today, Massachusetts State Senator for the 4th Middlesex District Cindy Friedman announced her endorsement of Dan Koh in the Massachusetts 6th Congressional District primary. She is the first State Senator to endorse in the primary.
“I've spent my career in the Massachusetts Senate working to ensure that individuals and families across our Commonwealth have a level playing field to become successful members of our state. I believe Dan Koh will fight for fairness and inclusion and will represent all the residents of the Sixth District, regardless of their race, gender, sexuality, religion, or economic status. Dan will pay attention to the needs of his district AND will fight President Trump's ridiculous attempts to destroy our democracy through damaging policies, flouting the rule of law, and pitting Americans against each other for his own gain. Dan has the smarts and values we need right now to be effective in this fight and I'm proud to endorse him for Congress,” Friedman said.
Thanking Senator Friedman for her endorsement, Koh noted her steadfast commitment to fighting for the families and communities she represents.
“I am incredibly grateful for this endorsement from Senator Friedman,” Koh said. “She has spent her career fighting for civil rights. The Senator knows that here in Massachusetts, our inclusivity and diversity is a strength, not a weakness. I’m thrilled to have Senator Friedman on our team as we fight President Trump's ridiculous attempts to divide us and build a brighter future for the entire Sixth District.”
Koh’s campaign has gained critical momentum thanks to over 50 endorsements from local and national community leaders, union locals, Vice President Kamala Harris, and Secretary Pete Buttigieg, while raising a record-breaking $2M+ in its first fundraising quarter, a record for an MA House candidate.
