PEABODY CITY COUNCILOR JON TURCO ENDORSES DAN KOH
Andover, MA – Today, Peabody City Councilor Jon Turco announced his endorsement of Dan Koh in the Massachusetts 6th Congressional District primary.
“Dan Koh is exactly who we need in Congress right now — a fighter for the working class and ally of unions. He understands what it takes to get things accomplished at the local and national levels and I know he will be a fierce advocate for our district. I am very proud to endorse Dan’s campaign for Congress,” says Councilor Turco.
Koh expressed his appreciation for the endorsement, emphasizing the important role local elected officials play in communities across the Sixth District.
"I’m honored to have the endorsement of Councilor Turco," Koh said. “As a former Select Board Member, I know the hard work and commitment that goes into serving as a local elected official. It truly takes leaders from all levels of government coming together for a common good to create real change. Councilor Turco is not one to shy away from a fight. He’s a staunch advocate for working families and unions in Peabody. I’m looking forward to working alongside the Councilor as we build an affordable Sixth District that works for families in Peabody and beyond.”
Koh’s campaign has gained critical momentum thanks to over 60 endorsements from local and national community leaders, union locals, Vice President Kamala Harris, and Secretary Pete Buttigieg, while raising a record-breaking $3.5M+ since launch, a record for an MA House candidate
