PRESIDENT OF THE PEABODY CITY COUNCIL JULIE DAIGLE ENDORSES DAN KOH
Andover, MA – Today, President of the Peabody City Council Julie Daigle announced her endorsement of Dan Koh in the Massachusetts’ 6th Congressional District primary.
“As President of the Peabody City Council, I know how important it is that we have a representative in Washington who is focused on local issues: the roads we drive on and the traffic on the way to school pick-up. Dan Koh is a dedicated leader who will advocate for Peabody and cities across the Sixth. I’m proud to endorse Dan and his people-first campaign,” says President Daigle.
Koh expressed his gratitude for the endorsement, emphasizing his deep respect for local leaders who selflessly fight for their communities every single day.
"I am honored by the endorsement from President Daigle," Koh commented. “As a former Andover Select Board Member and Chief of Staff for the City of Boston, I know the hard work that goes into making our local cities and towns safer and stronger. I admire President Daigle and all she’s accomplished in Peabody. I’m excited to partner with her on the projects that matter most to our communities.”
Koh’s campaign has gained critical momentum thanks to the support of over a dozen local community leaders, over ten union locals, and Vice President Kamala Harris, while raising a record-breaking $2M+ in its first fundraising quarter, a record for an MA House campaign.
