PRESS RELEASE

THE UTILITY WORKERS UNION OF AMERICA ENDORSES DAN KOH

Andover, MA – Today, the Utility Workers Union of America announced their endorsement of Dan Koh in the Massachusetts 6th Congressional District primary. The Utility Workers Union represents highly skilled workers who keep essential services running across the country, including power, water, gas, and critical utility infrastructure that communities rely on every day.

"The Utility Workers Union of America (UWUA) is proud to endorse Dan Koh's candidacy for the U.S. House in Massachusetts' 6th District. Dan's focus on working families’ concerns shows a commitment to Massachusetts that places people and communities first – a quality much-needed in today’s challenging political environment,” National Vice President Craig Pinkham said. “Dan knows that America is strongest when the middle-class thrives, and that organized labor is indispensable to creating and maintaining a sustainable living for working people."

In response, Koh expressed his gratitude for the endorsement, emphasizing the essential role utility workers play in keeping our communities running.

"I'm honored to have the endorsement of the Utility Workers Union of America," Koh said. "As we head into the heat of July, it's the utility workers who are keeping the power running and the air conditioning on for families across the Sixth District. Their work is essential, and they deserve a leader in Congress who will fight for them every day. I’ve spent my career fighting for working families because I know our country is strongest when we have a strong middle class. I’m proud to have UWUA by my side as we build a stronger, more affordable future for the Sixth District. Let’s Go!"

Koh’s campaign has gained critical momentum thanks to over 100 endorsements from local and national elected officials and community leaders, union locals, President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, and Secretary Pete Buttigieg, while raising a record-breaking $3.5M+ since launch, a record for an MA House candidate.
