DAN KOH ENDORSED BY LABORERS LOCAL 175
Andover, MA – Dan Koh is proud to announce he has received the endorsement of Laborers Local 175 in his bid for Congress in Massachusetts’ 6th Congressional District, representing over 1,200 workers.
“Dan Koh is a fighter for working people, who is proud to stand with unions,” said Mike Gagliardi, Business Manager of Local 175. “He is the only candidate who has the qualifications, experience, and dedication to fight back on Trump’s attacks on working people. He has the fight and experience to be effective on Day 1, and will be a game changer for the labor movement.”
“I am so grateful to have the support of Laborers Local 175,” said Koh. “Hardworking Laborers and their families are the backbone of our Massachusetts communities. In too many cases, however, they’re being pushed out of those same communities thanks to skyrocketing housing prices, rising childcare and health care costs, and even hate-based violence against our immigrant neighbors.
“Massachusetts needs leaders to step up and fight on behalf of our shared American Dream: affordable communities, the right to free speech and to organize, and the opportunity to build a better life for our kids and our neighbors.
“But times like these demand leaders who aren’t just willing to fight – they also need to know how to win. I know how to take on Trump, to stand up for our values, and most importantly to win. That’s just what I’ll do as the next Member of Congress from Massachusett’s 6th District, thanks to the support of the Laborers and working families from all across the Bay State.”
Laborers Local 175, an affiliate of the Laborers’ International Union Of North America (LiUNA!), is made up of hardworking union members on the forefront of the construction, building & site, and heavy highway industries. Their support reflects the strength and diversity of Massachusetts’ 6th Congressional District, the Bay State as a whole, and our entire United States of America.
