DAN KOH ANNOUNCES RECORD-BREAKING $800,000 IN THE FIRST 24 HOURS OF HIS BID FOR CONGRESS
Andover, MA – Today, Democratic House Candidate Dan Koh announced that he raised over $800,000 in the first 24 hours of his campaign for the Democratic nomination for Massachusetts’ 6th Congressional District. This is the largest amount raised by any Democratic candidate in the first 24 hours of a campaign this cycle.
“I am so grateful to the hardworking people who have joined our campaign because they want a representative who will fight for working people, protect our democracy, and make life more affordable,” said Dan Koh.
A dad of two young kids and the son of a Lebanese-Korean immigrant family, Dan takes the fight against MAGA personally. His story is only possible in a proudly diverse America.
Koh continued, ”I’ve asked the voters of Massachusetts' 6th District to send me to Congress, so I can take the fight directly to Trump. The tremendous support for our campaign in just these first 24 hours shows the confidence in our ability to deliver on day 1. Our country is in crisis, and this is no time for on-the-job learning. Our leaders must not only be ready to fight. They must know how to win.”
“I’m ready to fight, I’m ready to win, and I’m ready to deliver for the people of Massachusetts’ 6th District. Let’s Go.”
Reflecting his commitment to health care as a human right, Dan will contribute $50,000 to the campaign as a donation, not a loan, towards health care premiums for campaign staff.
“The cost of health care is far too high – and everyone deserves quality care. Being a campaign staffer is hard work as it is, and nobody on my team should ever have to worry about not being able to afford coverage if they get sick.”
