FORMER SECRETARY OF TRANSPORTATION PETE BUTTIGIEG ENDORSES DAN KOH
Andover, MA – Today, former Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg announced his endorsement of Dan Koh in the Massachusetts 6th Congressional District primary.
"I’m so glad to be supporting Dan Koh for Congress. He is exactly the kind of leader we need more of in Congress right now. I’ve known Dan for a long time, and we worked together when I was leading the Department of Transportation. He has consistently been focused on what public servants should be focused on – listening, having a vision, making it real through hard work, rolling up your sleeves, and delivering," said Secretary Buttigieg.
Koh expressed his gratitude for the endorsement, emphasizing how the Secretary’s successful career as a dedicated public servant inspires this campaign.
"I’m honored to have the endorsement of Secretary Buttigieg," Koh said. “He’s spent his career delivering real results for families across the country – I saw it first hand when we worked together in the White House. Whether as Mayor of South Bend or the leader of the Department of Transportation, Secretary Buttigieg has never lost sight of what truly matters: using government as a force for good and prioritizing the needs of our most vulnerable. I am deeply grateful for his trust in this race, and I’m excited to continue fighting for families across the Sixth District with a leader like Secretary Buttigieg on our team.”
Koh’s campaign has gained critical momentum thanks to over 50 endorsements from local and national community leaders, union locals, and Vice President Kamala Harris, while raising a record-breaking $2M+ in its first fundraising quarter, a record for an MA House candidate in history.
