TEAMSTERS LOCAL 3 ENDORSES DAN KOH
Andover, MA – Today, Teamsters Local 3 announced its endorsement of Dan Koh in the Massachusetts 6th Congressional District primary. Teamsters Local 3 represents around 400 printing and packaging workers across the greater Boston area.
"Working people in Massachusetts deserve leaders who understand that our economy is strongest when workers have a seat at the table. That's why Teamsters Local 3 is proud to endorse Dan Koh for Congress in Massachusetts' Sixth Congressional District,” said President Stephen Sullivan. “Dan has shown that he is willing to listen to workers, engage with organized labor, and fight for policies that create opportunity for working families. Our members deserve a leader who will fight for them and the future of the middle class by respecting collective bargaining and supporting workforce development. Dan Koh has demonstrated that commitment, and we are confident he will be a strong advocate for labor and working families in Washington.”
Koh expressed his gratitude for the endorsement, highlighting his commitment to standing alongside organized labor and fighting for working people
"I'm honored to have the endorsement of Teamsters Local 3," Koh said. "The hardworking members of Local 3 keep our economy moving every day, and they deserve a representative who will always stand up for their rights. I've dedicated my career to working hand in hand with organized labor, and if elected, I'll continue fighting every day for fair wages, strong benefits, and the right of every worker to bargain collectively. Together, we can build an economy that works for everyone.”
Koh’s campaign has gained critical momentum thanks to over 100 endorsements from local and national elected officials and community leaders, union locals, President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, and Secretary Pete Buttigieg, while raising a record-breaking $3.5M+ since launch, a record for an MA House candidate.
