MERRIMACK VALLEY BUILDING AND CONSTRUCTION TRADES COUNCIL ENDORSES DAN KOH
Andover, MA – Today, Merrimack Valley Building and Construction Trades Council announced their endorsement of Dan Koh in the Massachusetts 6th Congressional District primary. Merrimack Valley Building Trades is a Local Council of Massachusetts Building Trades Unions, which represents more than 75,000 hard working men and women who labor in the unionized construction industry.
"The Merrimack Valley Building and Constructions Trades Council proudly endorses Dan Koh as the candidate for the Massachusetts 6th Congressional district. We believe Dan shares our core values: creating good-paying jobs that lead to strong, lasting careers. Dan understands the importance of investing in workers, strengthening apprenticeship programs, and supporting the industries that build and power our communities,” said Frank Amato, President of Merrimack Valley Building Trades.
Koh expressed his appreciation for the endorsement, emphasizing his commitment to labor rights and fighting for working families across the Sixth District.
"I’m honored to have this endorsement from Merrimack Valley Building Trades," Koh said. “These members work hard every single day to build and deliver for our communities. They deserve a Representative in Washington who will fight for their right to quality healthcare and strong wages. I’m excited to work alongside them to make the Sixth District more affordable for working families.”
Koh’s campaign has gained critical momentum thanks to over 50 endorsements from local and national community leaders, union locals, Vice President Kamala Harris, and Secretary Pete Buttigieg, while raising a record-breaking $2M+ in its first fundraising quarter, a record for an MA House candidate.
