MASSACHUSETTS BUILDING TRADES UNIONS ENDORSES DAN KOH
Andover, MA – Today, Massachusetts Building Trades Unions (MBTU) announced their endorsement of Dan Koh in the Massachusetts 6th Congressional District primary. MBTU represents the more than 75,000 hard working men and women who labor in the unionized construction industry. MBTU is dedicated to ensuring construction workers and their families achieve and maintain a solid middle class quality of life all across Massachusetts.
"The MBTU is proud to endorse Dan Koh for Congress. Dan has spent his career advocating for working families and union rights. The members of our 62 union locals deserve a leader who will join our fight for better working conditions, accessible healthcare, and more affordable communities. Dan has spent his career advocating for us — we know he will be our fighter in Congress," said Frank Callahan, President of MBTU.
Koh expressed his appreciation for the endorsement, emphasizing his commitment to labor rights and fighting for working families across the Sixth District.
"I’m honored to have this endorsement from MBTU," Koh said. “These members work diligently day in and day out to build communities — benefitting businesses, local economies, and families. They deserve an elected official who matches this energy and fights for their right to quality healthcare, fair wages, safe working conditions, and collective bargaining. I look forward to collaborating with MBTU as we continue our campaign for a brighter, stronger district that works for all.”
Koh’s campaign has gained critical momentum thanks to over 50 endorsements from local and national community leaders, union locals, Vice President Kamala Harris, and Secretary Pete Buttigieg, while raising a record-breaking $2M+ in its first fundraising quarter, a record for an MA House candidate.
