DAN KOH ENDORSED BY THE INTERNATIONAL UNION OF ELEVATOR CONSTRUCTORS LOCAL 4
Andover, MA – Today, Dan Koh announced he has received the endorsement of the International Union of Elevator Constructors Local 4 in his bid for Congress in Massachusetts’ 6th Congressional District. The over 1,200 members of Local 4 build, modernize, and maintain the systems that keep our communities moving — and they do it with unmatched skill and an unwavering commitment to safety.
“IUEC Local 4 is proud to stand with Dan Koh because he has always put working families first,” stated Patrick Sampson, Business Manager of IUEC Local 4. “Dan shows up and listens, and truly understands the affordability crisis hitting our communities. He fights for opportunity and safety for every family across Massachusetts. With our values under attack, we need a leader in Congress who delivers results. Dan Koh is that champion.”
In response, Koh expressed his deep appreciation for the endorsement, recognizing the critical challenges facing the district.
"I am profoundly honored by the endorsement from IUEC Local 4," Koh commented. "Throughout the sixth district, hardworking families and individuals are struggling with a range of issues, notably the increasing costs of housing, childcare, and healthcare.”
Koh emphasized the need for strong leadership to tackle these issues.
"Massachusetts needs leaders committed to making our communities more affordable, upholding the right to free speech and organizing, and ensuring the opportunity for our children and neighbors to build better lives. These challenging times demand leaders who are prepared not only to fight but also to win. I have the experience to confront Trump, defend our shared values, and, crucially, secure victories while fighting to make life better for all."
He concluded by stressing the importance of the union's backing for his campaign.
"The support of the IUEC Local 4 is critical for our people-first, affordability-focused campaign. I am grateful for Patrick’s steadfast leadership during a critical time and the entire union for all they do to empower workers all across the district and beyond.”
