PRESS RELEASE

BRICKLAYERS AND ALLIED CRAFTSMEN LOCAL 3 ENDORSES DAN KOH

Andover, MA – Today, Bricklayers and Allied Craftsmen Local 3 announced their endorsement of Dan Koh in the Massachusetts 6th Congressional District primary. For more than 160 years, the Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers have fought to secure fair wages, strong benefits, safe working conditions, and dignity on the job for skilled tradespeople.

“Bricklayers and Allied Craftsmen Local 3 is proud to endorse Dan Koh for Congress because he understands that a strong economy starts with supporting the workers who build it,” said Executive Vice President Charles Raso II. “At a time when working families are facing rising costs and economic uncertainty, we need leaders like Dan who have a proven record of standing with workers and delivering results for our communities. We are confident he will be a tireless advocate for organized labor and a strong champion for the hardworking people of Massachusetts’ Sixth District.”

Koh expressed his gratitude for the endorsement, emphasizing Local 3’s longstanding leadership in advancing the interests of tradespeople and working families.

“I am honored to have the endorsement of Bricklayers and Allied Craftsmen Local 3,” Koh said. “The members of Local 3 represent a tradition of skilled craftsmanship and worker advocacy that has strengthened Massachusetts for generations. At a time when too many families are struggling with rising costs and economic uncertainty, we need leaders in Congress with the experience to deliver for working people and make sure they can get ahead, not just get by. I’m grateful for their support as we work to expand opportunity and build an economy that works for working people across the Sixth.”

Koh’s campaign has gained critical momentum thanks to over 85 endorsements from local and national elected officials and community leaders, union locals, President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, and Secretary Pete Buttigieg, while raising a record-breaking $3.5M+ since launch, a record for an MA House candidate.
