NORTH ATLANTIC STATES REGIONAL COUNCIL OF CARPENTERS ENDORSES DAN KOH
Andover, MA – Today, the North Atlantic States Regional Council of Carpenters (NASRCC) announced their endorsement of Dan Koh in the Massachusetts 6th Congressional District primary. NASRCC represents more than 30,000 men and women employed by the leading residential and commercial general contractors and carpentry subcontractors in the region.
"Union carpenters need the representation of experienced allies in Washington more than ever, and that's why we're endorsing Dan Koh for Congress. His progression and diversity of public service will make Dan Koh an impactful member of Congress on day one. We know that he will effectively advance the rights and economic interests of working people in this country because Dan Koh's focus will be our members and the hundreds of millions of Americans who, like us, want to be treated fairly on the job and in our economy,” said Joe Byrne, Executive Secretary-Treasurer for NASRCC.
Koh expressed his gratitude for the endorsement, emphasizing the importance of leaders who understand unions and can fight for their rights – just like Dan has throughout his career.
"I'm so grateful for this endorsement from NASRCC," Koh said. "Carpenters selflessly build strong futures for families across our district. These members deserve a leader in Congress who will focus on their future — prioritizing union rights, accessible healthcare, and affordable prices for families."
Koh’s campaign has gained critical momentum thanks to over 50 endorsements from local and national community leaders, union locals, Vice President Kamala Harris, and Secretary Pete Buttigieg, while raising a record-breaking $2M+ in its first fundraising quarter, a record for an MA House candidate in history.
