Gun Safety
I am the parent of two young children, and it is horrifying that active shooter drills have become a part of American childhood. The loss of any life to gun violence is unacceptable.
I was proud that we passed the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act in the Biden Administration, but that was only a first step.
Massachusetts has shown that strong and common-sense gun safety laws save lives, and we need to bring that approach nationwide.
I support an assault weapons ban, universal background checks, and red flag laws.
I will not stop working until every family is safe from gun violence.
I am proud to have earned the 2026 Moms Demand Action Gun Sense Candidate distinction, in recognition of our commitment to gun violence prevention and commonsense gun safety measures. This designation tells supporters, volunteers, and voters across the country that I'm committed to reducing gun violence and will make public safety and responsible gun policy a priority in office.
